    The Eurotherm Solid State Relay (SSR) products offer a superior method of switching power to resistive heaters, lamps, alarm devices,
    small motors, and other similar applications. Available in a wide variety of amperage sizes, the SSRs can be cycled as fast as the mating controller requests without any wear or degradation in the expected life of the relay. Forsome heater applications, fast cycling of the SSR actually causes a dramatic increase in the life of the heater due to a reduction in the thermal expansion and contraction of the heater.
    Heatsinks
    All SSR products generate heat based upon the amperage of the applications. Eurotherm has a range of heatsinks which are sized for your application.
    Safety
    The SSRs for AC switching include a clear plastic cover in order to provide IP-20 (finger safe) protection. The DC switching SSRs have this cover as an option if needed. The SSRs are built to meet international safety standards including CE regulations.
